The Nigeria Police Force has arrested Pastor Bolaji Idowu, founder of Harvesters International Christian Centre, over allegations of real estate fraud and money laundering.
Reports indicate that Idowu is currently under interrogation at the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) in Abuja. The investigation stems from accusations of financial misconduct.
Pastor Idowu, who established the church in 2003, is widely recognized for his contributions to ministry and community development. However, details regarding the allegations and the ongoing investigation remain unclear.
A source disclosed: “Pastor Bolaji Idowu of the Next Level Prayer Conference has been apprehended by the police and is being questioned in Abuja concerning real estate fraud and money laundering.”
Another insider confirmed, “He is presently at the FCID in Abuja.”
Efforts to get comments from the FCT police spokesperson, Josephine Adeh, and Force spokesperson, Muyiwa Adejobi, were unsuccessful as they did not respond to inquiries from News360 Nigeria.
