 TOPIC: Your Mind And Your Access To The Voice Of God (Seeds Of Destiny 25 April 2024)

SCRIPTURE: While Peter thought on the vision, the Spirit said unto him, Behold, three men seek thee. – Acts 10:19.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Your mind affects your access to the Voice of God.

The Scripture reveals that out of your mind are the issues of life (Prov. 4:23)

This means, the state of your mind affects the issues of your life. Hence, there is a need to guard your mind with all diligence.

Now, what is the power of the mind?

1. The mind affects access to God’s voice.
   Acts 10:19 says:
   While Peter thought on the vision, the Spirit said unto him, Behold, three men seek thee.
   While Peter thought on the vision, God spoke to him. Your mind affects your access to the Voice of God.

Matthew 1:20 says:

But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.

As Joseph thought, God visited him. God visits you based on what is going on in your mind. God speaks to you based on what your mind is thinking of per time.

2. The mind determines the Acts and Possibilities of God.

Ephesians 3:20 says:

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,

God is able to do exceedingly abundantly, above all that we can ask or imagine.

Philemon 1:14 says:

But without thy mind would I do nothing; that thy benefit should not be as it were of necessity, but willingly.

So, God needs the cooperation of your mind to do mega things in your life.

3. The mind determines the stability of life.
   A stable mind is a stable life. It does not matter the storms of life or what is going on around the world, if your mind is stable, your life will be stable.

Job 23:13 says:

But he is in one mind, and who can turn him? and what his soul desireth, even that he doeth.

If your mind is stable, there is no holocaust or pestilence on earth that can shake it. When men say they are cast down, you shall be saying there is a lifting up.

REMEMBER THIS: Your mind affects your access to the Voice of God.

ASSIGNMENTS:

1. Make up your mind not to limit the Acts and Possibilities of God in your life by a negative mind-set.
2. Believe God totally to do His Work in your life.

PRAYER: Lord, I ask that You purify my heart from the pollutions and distractions of the world. I receive access to Your Voice and possibilities through a positive mind-set Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
