TOPIC: GOING UP BY RIGHTEOUSNESS
SCRIPTURE: Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people. Proverbs 14:34.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The lifestyle of uprightness is a key to going up in life. To be righteous is to end right up.
We may be physically on earth but “revelationally,” we are seated with Christ in the heavenly places. This is a revelation that gives you victory on earth.
In his time, Abraham was great and was seated high up. The same applies to Job. He was the greatest of all the men in his time, despite his spirituality. Job was great despite being holy.
This means, it is improper to say that you are struggling in life because you are holy. It is wrong to think or say that you are suffering because the world is corrupt. The same world was corrupt in the days of Job. And despite the corruption of the world, Job had integrity and authority. Despite the corruption of the world, Job had prosperity. No one was holier than him and no one was richer than him in his generation. What a combination!
No one was more spiritual than Job and no one was more financially stable than him in his generation. He had fire, and he had finance.
Now, let me give you one key to going up in life: It is the lifestyle of uprightness.
The lifestyle of uprightness is a key to going up in life. To be righteous is to end right up. If righteousness exalts, crookedness demotes.
If you had a dream of the night of a vulture hovering over your head, is that a good dream? No!
Similarly, the difference between a lion and a pig is character. The lion will not taste dead things but the pig will.
My counsel is, if you want to go up in life, make up your mind to uphold the character of uprightness.
REMEMBER THIS: The lifestyle of uprightness is a key to going up in life. To be righteous is to end right up.
PRAYER: Lord, I receive the grace to live right, so I can attain my destiny at the top. Rid me of every weight of sin that pulls me down, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
